Rockland café has new hours

Lillian’s Café, in the lobby of the JCC Rockland in West Nyack, has extended hours and now also offers “Take Out Thursdays.”

Lillian’s, an employment program of Rockland Jewish Family Service, now is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. On Friday, it’s open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patrons can order dinner to go on Take Home Thursdays; there will be a different menu each week. They can create their own salads at the Tiki Hut Salad Bar or use the Grub Hub, which provides contactless or curbside pickup.

Lillian’s Café is a kosher dairy café with a menu friendly to vegan and vegetarian diets and many gluten-free options. It’s named for Lillian Adler, a woman of valor and generosity, who believed in building community while making the world a better place for all. The café employs people on the autism spectrum and provides job training and real work experience to enhance the strengths and potential of each member of our workforce.

The goal of Lillian’s Café is to nourish our bodies, our spirits, and our community. Rabbinical supervision is by Rabbi Justin Schwartz. For more information, go to or call (845) 215-7055.
