Nearly 100 people attended the March 24 “Sunday of Strong Women” program at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly. The morning featured three writers — Angela Himsel, author of “A River Could Be a Tree,” Susie Orman Schnall, author of “The Subway Girls,” and Alexandra Silber, author of “White Hot Grief Parade.”

The program included a Q&A, lunch, and book signings that allowed guests to socialize with the authors. Event sponsors included Kim and Marc Harrison, Lisa Beth and Greg Meisel, Eileen and Brian Pleva, and Julie Segal and Mark Warner. It also was supported by the James H. Grossmann Memorial Jewish Book Endowment Fund.
