Hadassah Northern New Jersey installs new president and board
Gail Black, Hadassah’s national membership chair, installed Leah Kabrt of Caldwell as president of Hadassah Northern New Jersey last month. She also installed the new board. The ceremony was at Congregation Agudath Israel in Caldwell.
Leslie Felner of Fair Lawn, the outgoing regional president, thanked the board for its hard work during her three-year term. Ms. Kabrt, whose term began on January 1, outlined projects she plans to undertake. She had been the region’s vice-president and is a life member of Hadassah, active in the Caldwell chapter. Upcoming programs include the region’s annual walk for Israel and a community-wide panel discussion on antisemitism.
