Fun. received six Grammy nominations for the 55th Grammy Awards and were the first rock band to receive nominations in all “big four” categories: record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, and best new artist.
“Some Nights” was named one of the top albums of the year by Rolling Stone, SPIN, NPR, and Entertainment Weekly, which also named fun. one of their “entertainers of the year.”
“We Are Young” was No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks. The song was No. 1 on the Billboard Digital Songs chart for seven weeks, becoming the first song ever to log seven weeks or more of sales surpassing 300,000, breaking Eminem’s five-week record, for “Love The Way You Lie.”

“Some Nights” was named one of the top songs of 2012 by Billboard, Entertainment Weekly & Rolling Stone.
Fun. was the first band in more than a decade to score a Billboard “Hot 100″ No. 1 on its debut charting song. The last rock band to achieve this was Nickelback with “How You Remind Me” in 2001.
Fun. was the first band since 2007 to send its first two “Hot 100″ entries (“We Are Young” & “Some Nights”) to the Top 10.
“We Are Young” was the first No. 1 by a rock band on the Billboard “Hot 100″ since Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” in 2008.
