Flute master class in Tenafly
Jasmine Choi teaches a master class at the Thurnauer School of Music at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly features on Wednesday, March 27, at 4:30 p.m. This is the school’s second annual Neus Family Flute Master Class. Ms. Choi, an international soloist and clinician, is principal flute for the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra. The master class will be in the Eric Brown Theater of the JCC.
“We are very grateful to Karen and Michael Neus for making this series possible, and we are thrilled that Jasmine Choi, such an accomplished musician, can lead this master class,” Dorothy Kaplan Roffman, the Thurnauer School’s director, said. “Master classes give students and the audience a valuable opportunity to gain insight into both musical works and the artistic process through public coaching in an intimate setting.”
The master class is presented as part of the Thurnauer School’s annual master class series and will be the 78th master class offered at Thurnauer since 1996.
