Son of former Jewish Standard editor publishes novel

Matthew Boroson, son of longtime Jewish Standard editor Rebecca Boroson and Jewish Standard writer Warren Boroson, all formerly of Bergen County, has published his first book.

The novel, “The Girl with Ghost Eyes,” to be released in November, got a starred review from Publishers Weekly, and LibraryReads has called it one of the 10 best books published in November. The story is a tale of magic, monsters, and kung fu, set in the San Francisco Chinatown of 1898.
