Online program for the Three Weeks

In anticipation of the Three Weeks, Chabad of Hackensack is offering “Jerusalem Doesn’t Lie,” an online program by Rabbi Avrohom Stolik using history, archaeology, and faith to tell a story of strength, resilience, and hope. It’s Monday, July 28, at 7 p.m. The Three Weeks is a time of reflection and mourning for the destruction of the holy temples.

Rabbi Stolik, known as the “Jewish Indiana Jones,” will talk about the artifacts, texts, and facts about Jerusalem’s ancient stones and the Jewish people’s 3,000-year bond with them.

“This isn’t just about defending the past,” Rabbi Mendy Kaminker of Chabad of Hackensack said. “It’s about celebrating the truth. The very stones of Jerusalem remind us that we belong, that we always have, and that we always will.”
