Two dozen cars decorated with electric rooftop menorahs and Chanukah paraphernalia will be on the road. They will form in a car-menorah parade that will start in Glen Rock and then go to Wyckoff, Franklin Lakes, and Mahwah, stopping for the annual town-wide menorah lightings, on Sunday, December 22, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. The parade and town hall menorah lightings are sponsored by Chabad of NW Bergen County and Moonlight Limo Service.

The scheduled stops are 3:30 at Kilroy’s Wondermarket in Glen Rock; 4:30 at Wyckoff Town Hall; 5:30 at Franklin Lakes Borough Hall; and 6:30 at Mahwah’s Township Municipal Building. This year’s celebrations will include a chocolate-gelt drop from the extended bucket of a local ladder fire truck, a scavenger hunt, costumed mascots, and free traditional holiday refreshments, served hot from a kosher food truck.
