Daily Rambam study on Zoom

Rabbi Mordechai Shain of Lubavitch on the Palisades in Tenafly is leading a three-year Rambam learning cycle, teaching a chapter of Rambam a day on Zoom. The recordings are sent out on WhatsApp daily and the class is open to anyone of any age and study level. New learners can join at any point, and the previous class recordings will be provided for them.

Learning Rambam is like learning the entire Torah — all the 613 mitzvot and the laws pertaining to them — because the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah is the only halachic work that covers all mitzvot, including laws about Korbanot and Moshiac, Rabbi Shain said. The Lubavitcher rebbe instituted this daily learning cycle so that every man, woman, and child, no matter what age or knowledge level, would have the opportunity to learn the entire Torah. Additionally, joining this learning cycle unites a student with Jews all over the world, and brings physical, mental, and emotional healing.
