Yiddishkeit of New Jersey on Zoom

Tour guide Oscar Israelowitz presents a virtual tour called “Yiddishkeit of the Garden State” for the Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey on Sunday, November 20, at 7 p.m., on Zoom.

Online stops include Silk City; the Jewish farming towns of Alliance, Vineland, and Woodbine; the retail store Bamberger’s, and the birthplace of the literary Beat Generation poet Allen Ginsberg.

Mr. Israelowitz, an architect, licensed NYC tour guide, and author, has given private tours for Leon Uris, author of “Exodus,” and has exhibited his photographs at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
