Having a health issue can be scary for children and parents alike. You want the very best for your child and so do we. That’s why Valley offers pediatric specialty services to deliver experienced care, tailored to the needs of young patients.

Our team includes board-certified developmental pediatricians; subspecialists; rehabilitation therapists; social workers; a pediatric psychologist; a board-certified neonatologist; and a board-certified pediatric physiatrist, who have extensive experience in pediatric care and perform advanced procedures and treatments that can help our patients live healthy, active lives. Each patient receives individualized attention to understand their concerns, answer questions, and reassure parents in a child-friendly environment.

Our areas of care include developmental pediatrics, covering autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays and behavioral problems through the Kireker Center for Child Development; endocrinology, to address problems with growth, puberty, diabetes, or other disorders related to hormones; food allergy, gastroenterology, and nutrition services, in alliance with Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital; physical medicine and rehabilitation, to treat physical, cognitive, or language disabilities; pulmonology, to diagnose and treat respiratory issues; weight management, to provide family support and nutritional education; and pediatric sleep medicine, offered through Valley’s Center for Sleep Medicine.

We also have an onsite interdisciplinary spasticity clinic that includes board-certified physicians in pediatric neurosurgery, pediatric orthopedics, pediatric neurology, and pediatric physiatry that evaluates the patients together to come up with a treatment plan for patients with neurologically-related muscle spasticity.
