Touro anniversary gala is December 4

Touro will celebrate its 50th anniversary gala on Sunday, December 4, at 4 p.m., at the New York Marriott Marquis in Manhattan, marking its “50 years of impact and innovation.”

Honorees are the university’s president, Dr. Alan Kadish of Teaneck; Touro board member, entrepreneur, and real estate investor Dovid Lichtenstein; Touro vice president and Lander executive dean Dr. Robert Goldschmidt; and Touro senior vice president and former Nevada congresswoman Shelley Berkley. An honorary doctorate will go to Dr. Albert Bourla, Pfizer’s chairman and CEO, who oversaw the creation and production of the covid vaccine.
