With Rosh Hashanah, Tzom Gedaliah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, Hoshana Rabbah, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah all in the rearview mirror, Jews have no traditional festive celebrations to look forward to until … Shabbat.
And now, to add a bit of fun to possibly anti-climactic Shabbat celebrations, Rabbi Yael Buechler has added Shabbat Pajamas to her line of Jewish-themed merchandise.
Rabbi Buechler first found fame when she posted painted manicures about the weekly Torah portion. She then launched a line of nail decals at MidrashManicures.com, and ventured into other fashion items, including argyle print Chanukah socks and aprons, Chanukah scrunchies (one of which found its way into the hair of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg), Chanukah fanny packs, and matzah-themed pajamas for Passover.
The new Shabbat pajamas, like their Pesach predecessors, come in kids sizes 2-12.
Obviously, we’re hoping that Sukkot and Shavuot pajamas will follow, not to mention PJs themed to to individual Torah portions.
But in the meantime, go to ShabbatPajamas.com to get in at the ground floor as you give your kids a Jewish-themed literal PJ library.
