The Rockland section of the National Council of Jewish Women presents Bob Baird, the award-winning editor and columnist for the Journal News, who will talk about the history of the Tappan Zee Bridge. Mr. Baird is a Pulitzer Prize finalist and has won public service awards; in 2015 he was named a “Living Landmark” for his knowledge of Rockland history.
The program starts at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, at the Reform Temple of Rockland (formerly Temple Beth El), on 415 Viola Road in Spring Valley. Refreshments will be served. Participants are asked to bring a package or can of kosher-for-Passover food to donate to the needy. For information, go to ncjwrockland.org.
