Rockland JFS group seeks volunteers
The outreach committee of Rockland Jewish Family Service, a not-for-profit, non-sectarian community benefit agency, is seeking volunteers. The RJFS’s mission is to strengthen the physical and emotional well-being of adults, children, and families. Volunteers and staff in the outreach committee work together to develop and implement outreach programs. Slick Club is a social group for adults with developmental disabilities and Send-A-Friend is a program to match homebound people with visitors to share a meal or read or chat together. Traditions is a holiday-based program for people with dementia.
