Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky delivers invocation in Trenton

Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, the executive director of Bris Avrohom in Hillside, was invited to give the invocation at the final session of the New Jersey General Assembly in December.

He spoke about the connection to Chanukah, which had just been celebrated. “We are required on Chanukah to spread light in an increasing manner each day,” Rabbi Kanelsky said. He also offered blessings to the elected officials. “They, as a representative of the state of New Jersey, should spread kindness and goodwill in their communities in an increasing measure, and act as role models for their constituents,” he added.
