Planning for spring Rockland/Bergen cantorial concert

The Voices in Harmony committee — from left, Cantor David Wallach of Pearl River, Cantor Charles Romalis of Temple Beth Tikvah in Wayne, Cantor Barbra Lieberstein of Ramsey, cantorial soloist Marina Voronina of Barnert Temple in Franklin Lakes, Cantor Faith Steinsnyder of Hebrew Union College, Cantor Emeritus Mark Biddelman of Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley in Woodcliff Lake, Cantor David Perper of Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah, and Cantor Alan Sokoloff of Temple Emanuel of the Pascack Valley — meets to plan its next performance. That will be a celebration of Yom Ha’atzma’ut, Israeli Independence Day, on Tuesday, April 28, at 7 p.m., at Barnert Temple in Franklin Lakes. Voices in Harmony, whose name describes its diverse composition, is made up of synagogues, choirs, and cantors from Bergen and Rockland counties.
