New Jersey Yachad gala is Sunday
The Yachad New Jersey Gala is on Saturday, January 4, at 8 p.m., at Congregation Keter Torah in Teaneck.
Honorees include guests of honor Ken and Mindy Saibel, Jeff and Ilana Gdanski, who will be honored with the Keter Shem Tov award; Rachel Cyrulnik, who will be given the Women’s Leadership award; and Moshe and Dena Kinderlehrer, Tamar, Zev, Noam, and Eyal, who will receive the Yachad family award.
The evening also will establish the Debby Cohen z”l Ahavat Chesed Fund, dedicating Yachad’s first sefer Torah, and will include the first annual presentation of Mendel Balk Yachad Center awards to high school seniors.
Close to 500 people are expected to attend the gala, which benefits the New Jersey chapter of Yachad, the National Jewish Council for Disabilities. The global organization, a division of the Orthodox Union, addresses the needs of all Jewish people with disabilities and ensures their inclusion in every aspect of Jewish life.
