New cantor at TBS in Fair Lawn

Cantor Ted Prosnitz recently joined the clergy at Temple Beth Sholom of Fair Lawn. The Jewish Theological Seminary of America vested him as a cantor; he also received a master’s degree in sacred music from the seminary. As a chaplain and a cantor, he has worked in communities and congregations in Delaware, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio, New York, and New Jersey.
Temple Beth Sholom, a Conservative congregation serving the religious, educational, cultural and social needs of over 200 households in the Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Paramus, and Ridgewood areas, is affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
