Monsey rabbi among Star-K kashrut training attendees
STAR-K Food Service held a kashrut training seminar in Baltimore last month. Attendees came from as far away as Israel and Costa Rica, and from as close as Rockland County. Rabbi Shlomo Krasner of Monsey said, “During the course I realized that modern kashrut is very similar to the medical field: between the globalization, standards, and technology it has evolved a lot in the past 30 years and is likely to continue to grow and change. “
Lectures included “The Art of Being a Mashgiach,” “Kashrus of Beer, Wine and Liquor,” “The Soft Beverage Industry,” and “Practical Kashrus in Practice.”
