Manischewitz launches kosher Deli on Wheels, bringing Jewish comfort food to the streets
Manischewitz, the renowned kosher food brand with over 130 years of heritage, is launching “Deli on Wheels,” a mobile food truck offering both traditional and modern Jewish cuisine year-round. This initiative aims to make traditional and modern Jewish flavors more accessible to consumers beyond the holiday season.
The Manischewitz Deli on Wheels debuted on March 27, and is scheduled to appear at select ShopRite locations in New Jersey and New York.
The Deli on Wheels will offer Jewish deli classics — including all-beef hot dogs, knishes (including gluten-free options), matzah ball soup, babka, rugelach, hors d’oeuvres, macaroons, and Jake Retzlaff special edition matzah boxes (limited run).
The NJ Manischewitz Deli on Wheels area visits, all 11 a.m. to -3 p.m., are:
• Friday, April 4: 483 South Livingston Ave., Livingston
• Sunday, April 6: 224 Route 4 East and Forest Ave., Paramus
• Monday, April 7: 40 Nathaniel Place, Englewood
Other visits are:
• Sunday, March 30: Garden State Pavilion ShopRite, Cherry Hill
• Thursday, April 3: Uncle Giuseppe’s, Walt Whitman Road, Melville, NY
The food truck will temporarily pause operations during Passover, April 12- 20, and will resume service afterward as a full-fledged mobile restaurant offering menu items for purchase.
All stops before Passover will offer free samplings from the truck. After the holiday, items will start at $4 and up.
This food truck initiative is part of Manischewitz’s efforts to modernize its brand while honoring its rich history. The Deli on Wheels truck will also serve as a platform for special events, product activations, and exclusive Manischewitz merchandise, offering consumers a fresh way to engage with authentic Jewish food culture beyond traditional retail environments.
Manischewitz, now part of Kayco, a family-owned leader in kosher products based in New Jersey, continues to innovate while staying true to its roots.
All items sold from the Manischewitz Deli on Wheels are glatt kosher under the OU. Go to manischewitz.com/foodtruck for the most current schedule and any updates.
