On October 20, Temple Sinai of Bergen County in Tenafly honored 70 families who have been members of the shul for 40 years or more. The evening began with a cocktail party and dinner; a ceremony in the sanctuary followed, which celebrated both those families, the consecration of the new religious school students, and Simchat Torah. Rabbi Beth Kramer Mazer, Rabbi Jordan Millstein, and Cantor Nitza Shamah are pictured with board members and former shul presidents holding Torahs as the first and last Torah portions were read.
