Veteran stage actor Mark Simons performs a one-man show, “Passage to All Things Possible,” the story of three immigrants and their journey to America via Ellis Island. The program is for the Bergen County section of the National Council of Jewish Women’s annual lunch and learn program, set Tuesday, March 3, at noon, at Temple Emeth in Teaneck.
“Mark Simons gives his audience insight into what it was like to be an immigrant arriving at Ellis Island,” NCJW’s co-president Bari-Lynne Schwartz said. “With immigration so much in the forefront of today’s news, it will be interesting to look back on the experiences of the immigrants of the past.”
The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members, including lunch. Registration is due February 21. For more information, go to ncjwbcs.com or call (201) 385-4847.
