The Bergen County Players presents “The Last Night of Ballyhoo,” which won the Tony Award for best play in 1997. The comedy-drama was written by Alfred Uhry, who also wrote “Driving Miss Daisy,” and is directed by Carol Fisher. Set in Atlanta in 1939, it is about a German-Jewish family whose main goal is to assimilate at any cost.
The play will run through November 12 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.
