The Jewish Federation & Foundation of Rockland County continues its Midreshet classes — Jewish education for adults — at Jewish Federation, 450 West Nyack Road. Local rabbis and educators will teach classes covering Jewish history, Torah, philosophy, and life experience. Classes begin Wednesday, February 6, and Thursday, February 7. They include “Not Your Zayde’s Prayer Book,” led by Rabbi Jill Hackell, and “Israel in Theory and Practice,” taught by Rabbi Joshua Finkelstein
