Israel Bonds meets in Englewood

Last week, Naava and Jeffrey Parker hosted an Israel Bonds meeting in their home. More than 100 guests came out to honor members of the Englewood community — Linda and Dr. Arthur Kook, Julie and Rick Lobel, and Toby and Michael Parker, who received the Israel Unity award. They raised $6 million in purchases and intentions of interest.

Englewood community chair Esther Lerer was master of ceremonies, and Mark Finkel and Dr. Ron Strobel were the reception co-chairs. Guest speaker Nadav Yesod discussed his appointment as a human rights and social affairs adviser at the United Nations.
