Hillel of Rockland holds commemoration at RCC

Bernard Storch, center, a 96-year-old Polish-born Jew and decorated veteran of the Polish army who liberated four concentration camps and received 10 medals of distinction from the Polish government, with students and leaders of Hillel of Rockland at Rockland Community College, after he told his story. When asked what he thinks the Jewish people will look like 96 years from now, he told the students, “That’s up to all of you.”
