Help with sukkah-building
Safely@Home!, formerly known as Bonim Builders, offers volunteers who perform critical repairs and renovations for low-income homeowners, the elderly, physically challenged, and chronically-ill.
Safely@Home is looking for volunteers to help build sukkahs for people who are unable to build their own at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 29, and also on Sunday, October 6. Volunteers to help take down the sukkahs are needed on Sunday, October 27. All ages are welcome, but those under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Register in advance by emailing Safely@Home’s director, Stacey Orden, at sorden@jewishhomefamily.org or by calling her at (201) 518-1175. High school community service letters are available upon request.
