A spokesperson for the State Fair told Syracuse.com it had been searching for a kosher vendor for a long time, part of an effort to cater to diverse dietary needs. Last year, the fair added a vegan vendor.
In addition to matzah balls, the menu will include deep-fried apple blintzes, deep-fried cheese-filled knishes, and non-fried items including lox, bagels, and Israeli salad.
