Historian Lisa M. Leff of American University, the director of Mandel Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, discusses “The Archive Thief: The Man Who Salvaged French Jewish History in the Wake of the Holocaust” for Temple Emeth in Teaneck’s annual Rabbi Joshua Trachtenberg Memorial lecture. The lecture, part of the shul’s 75th anniversary celebration, and its “One Book, One Synagogue” series, highlights the themes of “The Book of Lost Names,” by Kristen Harmel. 8 p.m.; Shabbat dinner at 6.
