Rabbanit Sally Mayer

Rabbanit Sally Mayer, rosh midrasha at Midreshet Lindenbaum’s Overseas Program, is the scholar-in-residence at an adult education committee meeting at Congregation Rinat Yisrael. During tonight’s oneg at 7:45 p.m., she will ask “‘Can You Order Me a Ham on Rye? Lifnei Iver in the Workplace and Beyond.” On Shabbat morning she will give derashot at the teen minyan, 8:30 a.m., and at the minyan at 9. Her post-Mincha shiur will be “Timeless Tradition Meets Modernity: When Halacha is Based on Outdated Science.” 389 West Englewood Ave. (201) 837-2795.
