The CSI Scholar Fund of the JCC of Fort Lee/Congregation Gesher Shalom presents visiting scholar Rabbi David J. Fine of Temple Israel & JCC in Ridgewood, with a new series, “American Jewish History.” Refreshments at 12:30 p.m., program at 12:45. Series continues July 11, 18, 25, and August 1. Each self-contained lecture focuses on a chapter of Jonathan D. Sarna’s book “American Judaism.” The series begins with “American Judaism Matures in the Nineteenth Century, Facing Challenges of Unity and Disunity in the Nation and Its Own Ranks” (chapter 3). 1449 Anderson Ave., Fort Lee.
