The Zamir Choral Foundation celebrates Chanukah and the State of Israel at 75 with a multigenerational musical celebration featuring the Zamir Chorale and Zamir Noded, the Zamir Choral Foundation’s inspiring ensemble of young professionals. Matthew Lazar is the conductor. The choirs, performing separately and together, will sing traditional and contemporary music that celebrates the joy, history, and meaning of Chanukah and of the State of Israel — music that recalls the past, honors the present, and brings hope for the future.
It’s set for Sunday, December 18, at 7:30 p.m., at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center in Manhattan.
