Burial association needs tallesim

The Hebrew Free Burial Association needs any talleisim people may have, no matter their condition. The society buried more than 130 people in April; the majority were men. (The customs dictating who is buried with a tallit varies in different parts of the Jewish world. In the Orthodox world, it is only men.)

The talleisim can be dropped off in New Milford, or pick up can be arranged, all within safe social distancing. For more information, email Andrew Parver at aparver@gmail.com.
