Bris Avrohom reaches out to travelers

Bris Avrohom of Hillside maintains a Jewish information stand at El Al Airlines at Newark Liberty International Airport. The group offers travelers flying to Israel Tefillat Haderech — the traveler’s prayer — and helps them put on tefillin. The stand is under the direction of Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, Bris Avrohom’s youth and Torah education director. The group pictured at El Al security staff headquarters shared High Holy Day insights, blew shofar, and ate apples dipped in honey, and honey cake.
