Beck not his call - The Jewish Standard

There has been a bit of back and forth on the subject of Glenn Beck. Just for the record, Beck does not support a two-state solution, has likened Reform Judaism to radical Islam, and takes positions on most social issues which are antithetical to the majority of the American Jewish population. He purports to be a friend of Israel, and yet has obstructed the peace process by undermining our president and thereby the Quartet, which continues to work on the basis of George Bush’s Roadmap. That’s right; Glenn Beck does not support the two-state solution outlined by George Bush and every American President since Harry Truman. Glenn Beck is a demagogue interested in only one thing – promoting Glenn Beck. It is one thing to be happy with the support of the Christian evangelical community. It is another to mistake Glenn Beck for a super-hero out to single-handedly save Israel from its mistaken ways.
