Students at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies have begun their classes at a new location, Temple Israel in Ridgewood. Among the many classes offered this year are “That was the Week That Was” led by Bruce Prince, pictured; “Moses, Monty Python and the Mishnah”; “Disney and Judaism”; “Israel and International Criminal Law”; and “Jewish Medical Ethics.”

The Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies is a regional Hebrew high school for 8th through 12th graders. In addition to weekly classes, the school provides social activities, community service opportunities, and Shabbatonim. For more information, call (201) 488-0834 or go to www.bchsjs.org.
