To show their gratitude and appreciation for the healthcare workers on the front lines of covid-19 at Holy Name Medical Center, members of Teaneck’s Congregation Arzei Darom raised $2,800 to provide Kosher meals for hospital staff.
“Living blocks away from Holy Name Medical Center, we saw first-hand how incredible their staff are and were motivated as a community to give back to them and support them in whatever way we could,” Miles Levin, Arzei Darom’s president, said. “We worked with local kosher restaurants Sababa Grill, Ma’adan, and Yalla! to have food delivered to them.”
Michael Maron, HNMC’s president and CEO, said, “Holy Name Medical Center is proud to serve the Teaneck community and Arzei Darom’s generous donation shows the community’s support and dedication. Our incredible staff is working around the clock to help patients fighting covid-19 and knowing that the congregation wants to make sure that we’re taken care of, reminds us of what a special community this is.”
