Again, artist  Miriam Stern of Teaneck is selling her work, at a special price, to benefit four organizations. Two are local — the Center for Food Action in Englewood and Tomchei Shabbos of Bergen County. One is national — Mazon — and the fourth is Israeli — Leket Israel.

“Crete.”

The sale is from December 4 to December 11.

Every piece of art costs $200, just during this sale, and 100 percent of the proceeds go to one of these four charities. Each donation is 100 percent tax-deductible.

To look at the art, and then to buy it, go to MiriamStern.net/Art-to-Feed-the-Hungry.html.

“Berkshires.”

Each piece is an original, signed, one-of-a-kind monoprint by Ms. Stern. To buy one, click on one of the four charities, make a donation, and forward the receipt to Ms. Stern. (The instructions are on the website.)

“This is a win/win,” Ms. Stern said. “You get to choose an original artwork. You get to donate to a charity. You get to enjoy the art for many years to come. And most importantly, you help feed the hungry during these
difficult days.
