An apology - The Jewish Standard

The July 15 Jewish Standard article entitled “N.J. lawmakers act to protect volunteers who drive” featured a picture of Enid Rottenberg Z”L, who was a long-time Kosher Meals on Wheels volunteer. Enid was admired by all of us at Jewish Family Service as a person dedicated to providing food to the elderly and disabled in Bergen County. She was much loved by those who received her packages of food each week. While her picture was inadvertently selected from a group of volunteer shots, we cannot think of a better person to represent the spirit and dedication of a Jewish Family Service volunteer. We apologize and take responsibility for the mistake and any discomfort it may have caused to those who knew and loved her.
