‘We should be embracing our friends’

I was sadly disappointed in the July 29 article by Rachel Tabachnick entitled “Beck’s outreach expresses dangerous themes.” Glenn Beck has always been an outspoken defender of Israel and the Jews. Instead of questioning his motives, Ms. Tabachnick should have been thanking him as a Christian friend of the Jews. How stupid are we Jews for picking on non-Jews like Michele Bachmann for her pronunciation of a Jewish word and for being critical of the few friends, like Glenn Beck, we have in the world? In this time of delegitimizing Israel by most of the world, we should be embracing our few friends, instead of pushing them away.
