A call for social action volunteers

The Fair Lawn Jewish Center/CBI seeks volunteers for a social action project to help homeless families on October 6 at Family Promise, in the Christ Episcopal Church, 100 Dayton St., Ridgewood.

Volunteers are needed from 1 to 3 p.m. or from 3 to 5 p.m. Children 10 and older are welcome to accompany older volunteers. For more information, email Sarit Hand at sarit@thehandhouse.com or go to bergenfamilypromise.org.
