9/11 memorial ceremony held at Newark Liberty Airport

Newark Liberty Airport observed September 11 with a memorial ceremony at its headquarters. The airport’s general manager, Doug Stearns, and Frank Radics, its chief of police, spoke, and a moment of silence was observed. Ronald Shindel, the deputy inspector of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, was there as well. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky spoke about positive actions that each person can take, especially before the Jewish New Year, and Rabbi Avremy Kanelsky, the director of the Jewish Information Stand at the airport, blew the shofar.
