MSNBC reporter Ayman Mohyeldin, giving a live report from the scene of a stabbing attack in Jerusalem, opined that the man had just been shot by security forces despite “looking unarmed,” implying that Israeli authorities and news agencies were lying about his having attempted a terror attack.
But when the anchor displayed another video of the attack – and a still of the terrorist holding a “five inch or longer” knife – Mohyeldin was forced to backtrack.
“Clearly, it seems to me that he is holding in his left hand something and in his right hand what seems to be a knife,” the anchor corrected.
