On Sunday, February 12, at 8 p.m., Congregation Rinat Yisrael of Teaneck welcomes Tuvia Tenenbom, author, social commentator, and subject of the Jewish Standard’s cover story on January 20. His talk is “Catching the Jew — Here Too: Anti-Semitism and Anti-Zionism in Israel and the U.S.”

The Israeli-born Mr. Tenenbom, who has lived in Germany, is the author of three Der Spiegel best sellers, “I Sleep in Hitler’s Room,” “Catch the Jew!,” and “The Lies They Tell.” He also is a journalist, dramatist, and the founder of the Jewish Theater of New York. He will read excerpts from his newest book, “The Lies They Tell”; a question-and-answer session will follow. Refreshments will be served. Mr. Tenenbon’s books will be available for sale. Register at
