My personal accolades to The Jewish Standard’s open policy that prints a free flow of thoughts, ideas, and opinions. It is encouraging to be able to excite opposing points of view to respond. America is about free speech with the exchange of ideas and not name-calling when there are opposing viewpoints. Time will explain which opinions are correct. Two letter-writers (Nov. 7) apparently do not agree with my opinions or perhaps did not understand what was written and came to the conclusion that using the label “demagogue” strengthens their argument. By using such a term their so-called reasonable conclusions are without merit. The only credence I offer their argument is that I suppose we can agree to disagree.
