The School of Theater Arts at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is enrolling students for fall sessions in a progressive program that helps them advance their talent, develop professional level performing skills, speak confidently in front of an audience, and prepare to perform as professionals in New York theater, film, and TV pilots and commercials. Broadway theater professionals teach exciting classes. Classes and workshops for children and teenagers 10 and older are open to both JCC members and non-members.

Choose from Acting in Comedy & Drama for Teens, an accessible theater class taught by Deborah Dine, or Super Singers with Katherine Keyes. Both classes begin on Thursday, October 19, at 6 p.m. Advanced Musical Theater Workshop with Deborah Roberts begins on Monday, October 16, at 5:30. Advanced Acting with Joy Kelly Smith of TheaterWorks begins on Tuesday, October 17, at 6:15.
