“GI Jews: Jewish Americans in World War II” spotlights the little-known story of the more than 550,000 American Jews who served in all branches of the military during World War II. The feature-length documentary features original interviews with notables, including Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Henry Kissinger, and the late Bea Cohen.

The film premieres nationwide Wednesday, April 11, at 10 p.m. on PBS (check local listings) in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day (April 12). It will be available to stream the following day on pbs.org/gijews and on PBS apps.
