Last week, Joyce and Daniel Straus and Zahava and Moshael Straus hosted a Norpac pro-Israel event for Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) in Englewood.

Mr. Menendez is the former chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and now is its ranking member. The committee is responsible for most major legislation related to America’s relationship with Israel. Mr. Menendez was one of four members of the Senate in his party to vote against the Iran deal in 2015. He also is a cosponsor of the Taylor Force Act, which would cut off American funding to the Palestinian Authority for funds they give to the families of dead terrorists.

In Englewood, Mr. Menendez discussed his recent meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu and his appearance at AIPAC’s policy conference.

Mr. Menendez is serving his second term in the U.S. Senate and will run for re-election this year.
