The Museum of Jewish Heritage — A Living Memorial to the Holocaust offers “Archtober: Building of the Day,” beginning at noon with a museum tour. Join Pritzker Prize-winning architect Kevin Roche for a tour of the buildings he designed to honor the memory of the Holocaust and to celebrate Jewish heritage. Learn about the symbolism behind the Museum’s architecture, from its iconic hexagonal shape and position on the waterfront to Andy Goldworthy’s Garden of Stones. At 1 p.m., guest curator Donald Albrecht will lead a tour of “Designing Home: Jews and Midcentury Modernism.” Free, reservations required. Space is limited.
